Synopsis: This movie takes place in Brookfield, Connecticut in 1981. Ed Waren and Lorraine Warren undertake the exorcism of an eight year old boy. During the exorcism, Arne Johnson invites the demon to enter his body. Ed suffers a heart attack and informs Lorraine in the hospital about the devil entering Arne's body. Arne murders his Landlord by stabbing him twenty two times. For the first time, a murder suspect would claim that he committed the murder due to a demonic possession. Ed and Lorraine try to help him but can they really help? Is the demonic possession real? Was Arne really under demonic possession while murdering his landlord or is it a way of escaping punishment?
